The Opening Remarks were delivered by Janice Fraser, Director of VINSAVE.

During the Ceremony, the pre-schoolers gave an indication of all they learnt during their time at VINSAVE, through dance, drama, skits and song which were well received by the audience. The children also received Certificates of Attendance.

Delivering the Feature Address was Gwenneth Cambridge, Senior Education Officer in Early Childhood Education at the Ministry of Education, who spoke on the theme: “We are the Men and Women of Tomorrow, Teach Us Well”. In her address, she encouraged parents to take their role as parents seriously, set good examples for their children, teach them Godly values, and encourage them. Noting that many parents are very young, she outlined various approaches they can use to guide their children.

The ceremony ended with a Vote of Thanks, delivered by Floreen Thomas, Field Officer at VINSAVE, followed by refreshments for all.
