More options and greater flexibility for ACCA students in the OECS

LightSparc Training has become the first institution in St Lucia to offer on-demand exams for ACCA students. As a licensed CBE (Computer Based Examinations) centre, LightSparc can now register candidates to sit CBE exams,{{more}} coordinate exam sittings, and administer CBEs in accordance with ACCA terms and conditions. There are around 15 other licensed CBE centres in the Caribbean, but this is the first and only such centre in the OECS.

CBEs are an innovative and efficient way for ACCA students around the world to take exams and one which allows them increased flexibility and access. One of the main benefits of computer-based examinations is that students receive their results immediately upon completion of the exam, which are then transferred to the student’s ACCA account within 72 hours. Additionally, they can attempt examinations at anytime during the year, are not limited to the two annual paper-based sessions in June and December and are able to progress at a faster rate through their chosen course of study by combining paper-based and computer-based sittings.

Computer Based Exams are offered for the first seven papers within the Foundations in Accountancy suite of awards, as well as the first three Papers of the ACCA qualification.
