Miss SVG Best Dressed Male and Female awarded
For the first time, the Carnival Development Corporation, through the Beauty Shows Committee awarded prizes to the Best Dressed Male and Best Dress Female who attended MISS SVG 2012 on Saturday,{{more}} June 2 at the Victoria Park. The Miss SVG pageant is known to attract thousands of patrons who dress very stylishly from year to year. This small gesture is meant to recompense patrons, who support the pageant by being at the park, dressed in the latest or most creative fashions.
The winners, Alex Da Silva of Lowmans Hill, Leeward, a student of the St Martinâs Secondary School and Monique Isaacs of Twenty Hill, an employee of the Government Printery at Campden Park, who were announced at the pageant, received their winnings of a $200 cash voucher, compliments Going Places Travel and season tickets to CDC shows during Vincy Mas 2012.
Cheryl Rodriguez, Chairperson of the CDCâs Beauty Shows Committee, congratulated the winners and said how impressed she was with the creative outfits.
DaSilva and Isaacs thanked the BSC for this initiative and said that they look forward to another extraordinary production, the Miss Carival pageant on July 6.
