FCIS holds seminar on “taking stock of stocks”

Over thirty individuals had the opportunity to receive information on equities/stocks/shares when they attended a Seminar organized by First Citizens Investment Services Ltd on Thursday, June 7, at the NIS Conference Room in Kingstown.{{more}} Clients and members of the public who responded to the company’s invitation to attend the seminar benefited from the invaluable information presented by the knowledgeable presenters.

The presenters gave participants insights into topics such as “Equity/Stocks/Shares 101, Listing on the ECSE”, “Trading on the Regional and International Stock Exchange”, “Stock Review” and “Stock Index Performance”. In concluding, questions were invited from the group of participants.

The ongoing Seminar Series is aimed at providing the investing public with information on matters of finance and investments, and is geared at building public education. This seminar was specifically geared towards building public awareness in anticipation of the first company in St Vincent and the Grenadines’ listing on the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange.
