Pan Jamboree at the Geest Shed this afternoon

The Pan Against Crime Committee (PAC) will wrap up its first schedule of community concerts, as part of its fourth anniversary, with a massive pan concert, dubbed “Pan Jamboree”, at the Geest Shed in Kingstown this afternoon at 5:00 p.m.{{more}}

The pan concert forms part of the PAC’s outreach programme, in an effort to showcase the talents of the youths involved in the various pan sides which were formed as a result of the Pan Against Crime Programme, created by Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves in 2008.

This afternoon’s Pan Jamboree will feature performances from the six mainland steel orchestras: The Mustique Charitable Trust Georgetown Steel Orchestra, The New Dimension Steel of Lowmans Windward, The Scotia Bank South East Steel Orchestra, The St Vincent Port Authority Genesis, The St Vincent Brewery Ltd Symphonix Steel Orchestra and the North Stars of Rose Bank. It will also feature performances from the Starlift Steel Orchestra.
