On Wednesday this week, Kathleen Ollivierre of Hope Estate, Bequia, and Arthur Shearman of Glen were presented with a Sony Bravia 32 inch plasma TV each, by Marketing Executive Alexis John.
The prizes are a part of the companyâs Home Solutions 2012 Campaign, a partnership between Courts and top brand maker Whirlpool.
Ollivierre purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator, three weeks ago, which made her eligible for the draw, while Shearman had bought a Whirlpool washer to enter.
Both long time shoppers at Courts, Ollivierre and Shearman pointed out that the feeling of being rewarded for their loyalty to the company is a great one.
They used the opportunity to encourage others to shop at Courts, where they could be in turn rewarded for their loyalty to the company.
The pair also have one other thing in common: they were both previous winners of national lottery games here in St Vincent.
They were congratulated by eight of the contestants who would soon be vying for the coveted title of Miss SVG, along with the reigning Miss SVG Aviar Charles.
The ladies were at the store to promote the Queenâs Deal Campaign, in which customers purchasing on credit would be given ten percent discount on their purchases.
The ladies were also browsing the many laptop computers that are available at Courts, since the person crowned Miss SVG on the night of June 2, would be receiving a Sony Vaio laptop, compliments Courts.
Previous winners had received television sets, but according to John, a brand new laptop would be more compatible with the grand prize of a university scholarship, acknowledging that a laptop computer and education go âhand in hand.â
John also called for persons to take advantage of the Courts Home Solutions 2012 Campaign, as there are two more Sony Bravia 32-inch television sets up for grabs.
