Lowmans Leeward resident Pearlita Durham is $10,000 richer today after winning the grand prize in the LIME Carnival “Must Have” promotion draw on Friday, July 22.{{more}} At a presentation ceremony at the LIME Kingstown Corporate office, Pearlita collected her cheque from General Manager Angus Steele.

An excited Durham said “I feel as if I’m in a dream. It hasn’t quite soaked in yet, and I’m afraid that tomorrow someone will pinch me to wake me out of this dream. “ Durham knows exactly what she’ll spend her winnings on. She assured the LIME representatives present that her EC$10,000 will be put to good use as she intends to invest it in her healthcare.

Pearlita who has been a LIME customer for over 20 years was extremely happy that she was able to win the grand prize. “At a time when things are rough, the Lord answers prayers, and after having many disappointments in life I finally feel like a winner. I am thankful and blessed to be a customer of LIME at this time.” said Durham.

General Manager LIME Angus Steele expressed delight that Durham had won and that the money will be put to good use. “Many persons may have used the money to acquire material things or to go on a trip, but Pearlita will invest this money in her health and future, and she will always remember that LIME created this opportunity for her. Our customers have benefitted tremendously over the Carnival season from many giveaways and prizes, and we want to thank everyone for taking part.”

Mespo resident Seymorne Cato was the recipient of the second Grand Prize. She will jet off to Barbados for Crop Over with a guest to enjoy three nights stay at one of Barbados finest hotels, free airfare, ground transfer and tickets to shows.

Cato was elated and grateful for this opportunity to get away to enjoy the Crop Over festivities.

She won her prize after topping up $20 during the Carnival promotion. During the prizes giving ceremony she stated, “I have never been to the Crop Over festival and I am so excited to be making this trip, I am so glad I’m a LIME customer.”

The Carnival “Must Have” promotion gave LIME customers five ways to win instant cash prizes and LlME branded paraphernalia as well as a chance to win an all expense paid trip for two to Barbados Crop Over or a trip for two to Grenada Spice mas.
