Apart from the sightseeing, they paid a visit to the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary and were warmly received by Orton King. In a show of support to animal conservation in Bequia, the delegation made a donation of EC$1000 to the Sanctuary and wished them continued success.

On July 17, the delegation visited the Windward side of the mainland and was astonished by the amazing Black Point Tunnel, Owia Salt Pond, and the natural beauty of the countryside.

While on the Windward side, the delegation dropped in at the St. Benedict’s Day Nursery and Children’s Home in Georgetown and were welcomed by Sr. Nyra Anne Pajotte O. Carm. The delegation was deeply touched by the great work done by Sr. Nyra and her colleagues. By donating EC$1000 and fruits, the delegation expressed their support and shared their love with the children and Sr. Nyra.

The six-member delegation led by Professor Dr. Fen-Chi Cheng has been holding a two week summer dancing camp in the Technical College since last week.

This afternoon, beginning at 4:30pm, at the Methodist Church, the delegation and SVGCC students will hold a closing presentation to showcase what they have learned from each other, such as Gong-Fu (Martial art), Belly, Ballroom, and Hip-Hop dancing etc.
