Robertson’s receipt bearing her name was pulled from close to one thousand persons who entered the one month long Blackberry Torch promotion which took place at Bickles’s Grenville and Egmont Street branches.

Robertson had purchased a Bickles meal which included a Jamaica Spice Bun valued over ten dollars, which made her eligible for the promotion.

Her purchase earned her the smart phone, which was donated by mobile telecommunications provider Digicel.

On Monday, June 20, Robertson received her prize, which was handed over by Bickles Marketing Assistant Kensley Deane, at the Digicel James Street office.

Deane thanked all the Bickles customers who participated in the promotion and encouraged them to continue purchasing healthy meals from the restaurant.

He indicated that there were more promotions in the bag for customers, including the hosting of a children’s karaoke show scheduled to take place this summer.

Meanwhile, the Grenville Street restaurant played host to Aunty Nicole and the ‘Children on the move’ cast, as Socket and her classmates visited the establishment on Tuesday, June 21.

Creator of the show Felicia Little indicated that the children were involved in singing and craft- making exercises.

They were also taught how to make a fruit salad while there, and were treated to a healthy lunch at the end of the visit.(JJ)
