Hitz FM: Article not official release from station

Hitz Fm is retracting an article published in the SEARCHLIGHT Midweek on April 12, headlined ‘Hitz FM joins Youth Department in March and rally in support of children’.{{more}}

In a news release issued to SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday, April 13, the radio station noted that though the child abuse matter is one of national importance and was dealt with on the Wake Up & Go Morning Show ‘As the Youths See it’ programme, the article was not an official release from Hitz 103.7 as suggested by the headline.
