Some 100 trees, including mangoes, oranges, breadfruit, among others, were donated to the students of the Young Leaders group at the St. Vincent Girls’ High School. The GHS Young Leaders will be planting these 100 trees in numerous communities and primary schools around St. Vincent and the Grenadines as part of the GHS 100th anniversary celebrations, and also in efforts to further educate the public on water conservation and deforestation.

Karib Cable’s Operations Supervisor Franklyn Fraser stated that “Karib Cable is pleased to be able to make such a contribution that will not only beautify St. Vincent and the Grenadines but will also help protect our health and environment.”
