SVG Consul addresses Cross-Border Multicultural event in Ireland

The Honorary Consul of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Northern Ireland addressed one of Ireland’s largest cross border multi-cultural events earlier this week.{{more}}

The ‘All of Us’ event took place at the Dundalk Institute of Technology on March 16 and was addressed by keynote speaker Dr Christopher Stange, Honorary Consul of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Northern Ireland. The event which celebrates culture and diversity saw one of the widest ranging programmes of music, dance, exhibitions and world food tasting in the region.

The cross border element is vitally important to the Institute and they are keen to showcase that they are a vibrant cross cultural campus and one which provides degree and third level courses such as cultural studies, cultural resource studies, community youth work and social care, among many others.

Keynote speaker Dr Christopher Stange, Hon. Consul of St Vincent and the Grenadines to Northern Ireland, said: “We are delighted to be a partner in delivering this exciting cross-border initiative to recognise our newer citizens and the vital contributions they make regarding economic and social development, as well as enriching wider society.
