Street Tuners get ready for Auto Fest

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Automobile Association (SVGAA) and the Street Auto Tuners Club (STAC) have collaborated to showcase the best in motor sport this country has to offer.{{more}}

‘Vincy Auto Fest’ is the first of its kind with the merging of the country’s motor sport bodies with one desired goal, that of promoting the various forms of motor sport in the country.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 12, at the Diamond Industrial Estate.

And according to Jason Moussa, President of STAC, the aim of the event is “to promote auto sport and to make people aware that motor sport could grow and have a home here.”

“This has been organized to give motor sports a kick start,” he continued, adding that although persons will be competing against each other, the day is for exhibiting the many forms of the sport that exist here.

He lauded the SVGAA for sanctioning the event and for its participation in ensuring the further promotion of motor sport in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The event will combine all the components of competitive auto sport and automobile exhibition featuring activities like burn out, exhaust and sound off and dexterity competitions.

Motorcycle enthusiasts are not being left out either, according to Moussa, with bike slated as one of the featured attractions at the event.

The event begins at 1pm.
