ARC magazine now available in SVG

Recently launched magazine ARC will be available from this week at Jujube in Kingstown and at the Bequia Bookshop in Port Elizabeth, Bequia.{{more}}

This follows the launch of the magazine on January 28, 2011 at the International Center of Photography Museum in New York City.

Holly Bynoe (editor-in-chief) and Nadia Huggins (creative director) introduced the New York public to ARC; its endeavours, motives and mission. Ishion Hutchinson, featured poet of Issue 1, read three pieces from his various collections, Far District and Second Light. Lorraine O’Grady, Andil Gosine, Mariamma Kambon, Florine Demosthene, Keisha Scarville and the featured artist Radcliffe Roye, along with numerous artistes from the practicing diaspora, were in attendance and signed for supporters.

The second incarnation and introduction in St. Lucia will take place on Wednesday, February 23 at Jacques Waterfront Dining, where Bynoe and Huggins are working with the spoken world collective HEADPHUNK to introduce ARC to St. Lucia.

ARC’s team will be in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from February 24 to 27.
