Leroy Rose, winner of Digicel’s Valentine’s Promotion, has described the experience as “the best Valentine’s ever for me”.{{more}}

Rose won Digicel’s Valentine’s Promotion when he was entered a draw by simply talking on his cellular phone for three minutes or more between February 1 and February 11. Persons who talked on their phone during this period for three minutes were entered in the Valentine’s draw. Rose was told that he had won on Friday, February 11, by Marketing Manager at Digicel Justin John via telephone live on Hot 97.1 FM.

Rose’s Valentine’s special began on Saturday, February 12. For winning, Rose and a friend were on Saturday, February 12, treated to full body massages at the Bamboo Spa in Arnos Vale. They were then chauffeured to the Young Island Resort for lunch and a rest day. At about 6.30 p.m., the duo were taken from the Young Island Resort, and driven to the Buccama Bay Resort, where they were given a Villa and dinner. They were also treated to a Sunday Morning breakfast. They left the Resort at midday.

“It was great, excellent. It was service with a smile. The people were very nice, and I really have to thank Digicel for making this the best Valentine’s ever for me”, said Rose on Wednesday. He added that this is the first time that he has ever won anything in his life.

Rose who is a Banker said that he has been using Digicel’s service since 2003, and “it has been my number one network”.

Marketing Executive John said that the Valentine’s Day Promotion was just the company’s way of showing love to the customers.

“All you had to do was talk for three minutes or more whether on your pre paid or post paid phone and you were entered in the draw,” said John who added that Digicel’s promotions are always bigger and better.
