The General Employees Co-operative Credit Union Limited (GECCU) signed its 5th Collective Agreement with the Commercial Technical and Allied Workers’ Union on February 11, 2011. The agreement is for a two-year period.{{more}}

The agreement was signed by the management of GECCU and officials of the CTAWU, and witnessed by Patrice Roberts-Samuel, Labour Commissioner.

The signing of the agreement marked the culmination of negotiations which were conducted cordially between the credit union and the workers’ representatives. One of the benefits for the employees includes an enhanced educational assistance programme.

The first Collective Agreement was signed on November 24, 1999.
