NTRC stages fifth community discussion tomorrow-Sandy Bay Resource Centre

The National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will be staging the fifth in a series of community discussions on the role of the organisation.{{more}}

This event will be held tomorrow, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Sandy Bay Learning Resource Centre.

Major issues to be discussed are: the role and function of the NTRC and projects being undertaken by the Universal Service Fund (USF).

The NTRC will be soliciting feedback on issues affecting residents in the area, with respect to the telecommunications services being provided by LIME, Digicel and Karib Cable.

Senior officials from the NTRC are expected to make presentations and facilitate the discussions.

Additionally, transportation will be provided by the minivan Eagle, which will be transporting persons from Owia and the surrounding areas to Sandy Bay and back.
