On Thrusday, January 27, when the Senator for the New Democratic Party was winding up her contribution to the debate on the Appropriation Bill, she had an exchange of words with the Speaker of the House, during which he requested more than once that she move off a particular topic.

In SEARCHLIGHT’s edition of February 1, 2011, we incorrectly quoted Baptiste as stating: “But I just have one point I want to finish and you are interrupting me.”

What she actually said was “But I just have one point I want to finish and you are interrupt…”
