25 to take Adult Education’s Garment Construction Course

Twenty five persons from the Belair Community and other areas of West St George will be engaged in a Sewing and Garment Construction programme which begins on Monday, February 7, at the Belair Clinic.{{more}}

The programme is a joint one between Zone 5 of the Adult and Continuing Education Division of the Ministry of Education and the Belair Health Group. According to Leroy Rock, Zonal Coordinator of Zone 5, the Programme is geared to giving persons a skill in garment constructon so that those persons will be marketable in todayâs world. The participants will be trained in Drapery making and personal garments.

The programme will be conducted over a four-month period and will be facilitated by Volita Tucker.
