Former Chief Agricultural Officer Lennox Daisley has been invited to participate in the first annual Cocoa Conference and Chocolate Expo to be held at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, Trinidad, from November 18 – 22, 2010.{{more}}
The event is being organized for stakeholders in the Caribbean and Internationally by the Caribbean Fine Cocoa Forum (CFCF), in collaboration with the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), the Cocoa Industry Board of Jamaica, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Marine Resources, and the Cocoa and Coffee Industry Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
âDaisley has been on many forums in St Vincent and the Grenadines drawing attention to the new opportunities for farmers in the cultivation of the new Cocoa cultivars, which is aimed at giving new vigour to agriculture in St Vincent and the Grenadines,â a release said.
