Last week Thursday, November 11, Marketing Executive Alexis John handed over a cheque valued $3,000 to Francelia Marksman of the Vincy Flavours committee.

The cheque is not the only donation that Courts will be making to the event, which takes place this Saturday, November 20, at the lawn area of the cruise ship berth.

Persons taking part in the culinary and bartending competition will be using quality brand name appliances supplied by Courts.

Marksman said that her committee was very grateful for the contributions made by Courts, and stated that she hoped to see the appliance giant involved in the event for years to come.

John, in handing over the cheque, said that his company is cognizant that the culinary arts are a key component of the country’s tourism product, hence their commitment to the event.

“We are extremely delighted to be given the opportunity once again to help showcase the best St. Vincent and the Grenadines has to offer in culinary arts.”

Courts has been sponsoring the event since its inception in 2006.
