Residents of West St.George will need approximately 140 (13ft) sheets of galvanized iron to allow them to respond immediately to secure their properties after the passage of Hurricane Tomas.{{more}}

They will also need 39 lengths of ridging and six lengths of fascia board to get the job done.

This was disclosed by the Unity Labour Party’s candidate for West St.George, Senator Cecil ‘Ces’ McKie, who is organizing with the Housing and Land Development Corporation in sourcing the material.

Constituents whose homes were directly affected by the passage of Hurricane Tomas are: Judy Gibson, Ann – Marie Gibson, Janice Da Breo, Sanford Mofford, St. Clair Mayers, Berrisford Nash, Vonnia Jack, Peter Warner, Almita Bibby, Christina Jack, Phyllis David, Renee Durrant, Verniza McKie, Monica Delpeche, and Trevor Cox.
