St. Vincent Co-operative Bank opens Hurricane Tomas Savings Account

The St. Vincent Co-operative Bank Limited has joined in the relief effort to assist persons adversely affected by Hurricane Tomas.{{more}}

The Bank has established a Savings Account called the Hurricane Tomas Relief Fund with an initial deposit of $10,000. Vincentians are being encouraged to make deposits, no matter the size, to assist those persons in most need after the passage of the storm. The Account Number is 81037.

The Bank views this as giving back to a people for their support over the past 65 years of providing quality service to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Directors, Management and Staff of the Bank are happy to be a part of the rebuilding exercise that is going to be taking place throughout the country. While it is established that Vincentians are resilient, at this point they need some small assurance that there are people who are ready and willing to lend positive support in their time of need.

The Bank will be partnering with the local Red Cross Society in distributing the proceeds of the drive to the most deserving people based on their own needs assessment.
