Intermediate High School making strides
The Intermediate High School (IHS) is basking in success at this yearâs CCSLC exam. Students wrote the examinations in three subject areas and gained a pass rate of 80% in English, 75% in Social Studies and 66.3% in Mathematics.{{more}}
The CSEC results, although slightly higher than last yearâs pass rate, were not as expected.
However, the top student, Kamara Penniston, gained passes in seven subjects.
With a motto of âBreaking Barriers, Setting Standardsâ, the IHS hopes to see a dramatic increase in the CSEC results at the 2011 setting.
