The Sweet Deals from Courts campaign was announced during a press conference at the Courts branch at Bay Street on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. The campaign begins officially on Friday, September 24, and will end on November 11, 2010.

Described by Marketing Executive of Courts, Alexis John, as the ultimate temptation, the promotion includes four sweet deals that reward customers for shopping at the furniture and appliance store.

The deals include nothing down on credit purchases until November 2010, free gifts when a customer spends $499 or more, double bubble Topup vouchers from Digicel on any purchase of $99 or more and the chance to win $3500 or receive up to 50% discounts.

One customer will walk away with the $3,500 each week, bringing the total to seven winners by the end of the promotion, John explained.

He added that deals will also be offered on items in each product category of the furniture and appliance store, emphasizing that for every room in a customers house, they can get a ‘sweet deal’ on an appliance or furniture to provide for that room.

Dicigel Marketing Manager, Juno DeRoche, giving brief remarks, thanked Courts for partnering with the telecommunications company, adding that is it just the beginning of what is to come in the future. She added that they will continue to partner with Courts as both companies value their customers significantly.

Account Executive of Digicel, Fanta Williams, explained that customers must visit a Digicel store at Halifax Street, St. Vincent, Bequia or Union Island in order to receive their double bubble top up. Persons must also present their Identification Cards along with the top up voucher. Williams, however, emphasized that the vouchers cannot be redeemed from Top up vendors on the street or at village shops.

Senior Operations Manager at Courts, Elwin Phillips, reiterated that Courts aims to make their customers happy through this promotion. He added that the store has already started to feel like Christmas, as the shelves are being restocked and staff are also being trained to best serve customers for the season.(OS)
