Calliaqua Anglican School gets facelift

On Monday, September 6, 2010, the first day of the new school year 2010-2011, headteacher, staff, parents and pupils of the Calliaqua Anglican School went back to school to a newly painted environment.{{more}} The paint job was spearheaded by Richard Cato, a former student of the school, while the paint had been donated some time ago by the National Homecoming Committee.

Yvette Bowens, headteacher of the school, expressed her thanks to Cato and his team who she said did a wonderful job. Her school, she said, is ever grateful. Cato said he is quite happy to help the school and asked the headteacher to call on him at anytime.

Bowens said this is an offer she will not refuse. She encouraged her students to keep the school clean.
