McTurks donate to Helping Hands Centre

Three first class medically designed chairs were handed over to the Helping Hands Centre on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, by Kathryn Cyrus, on behalf of herself and her siblings.{{more}}

The chairs were donated in memory of their mother Elsie McTurk of York, England, who died in 2007, and had been a frequent visitor to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Mrs. McTurk had made several donations to the centre over the years and her family thought it fitting to donate this tangible, practical legacy on her behalf at a cost of EC$5367.21.
