Stylists primp seniors at Lewis Punnett Home

Residents of the Lewis Punnett home at Glen were pampered on Monday, May 3, 2010, as several beauty salons collaborated to offer their services to them.{{more}}

The Motions product line collaborated with Barnet Fair Hair Fashions, Jubilee Beauty Salon, The Beauty Shop and Sadique Barbering to stage the event which was spearheaded by local Motions Hair Technician Auldine Bute Brown.

The female residents had their hair combed, toe and fingernails trimmed, shaped and polished, while the men had their hair cut and were shaved.

The Motions team expressed that they were fortunate to be given the privilege to pamper the elderly and bring some comfort to them.

A release said the team said they look forward to other opportunities to do charitable outreach programmes and to give back to needy communities.
