And for those who are still getting over the experience of witnessing former Portmore Empire dancehall sensation, Kim Hamilton last month, this one is expected to be bigger and better.
So says the man behind Hott Vibes promotion, Stuart âRudyâ Louie.
The show features Jamaican dancehall artist Donovan âMad Dogâ Lawrence teaming up with St Vincentâs own First Lady.
The likes of Soca acts like âAlla-Gâ and âLandlordâ are also expected to share the stage.
Mad Dog is known for popular singles such as his hit single Early Morning.
âThe show marks the end of dancehall and the taking over of Soca,â Louis told SEARCHLIGHT.
And with activities associated with Vincy Mas 2010 expected to get underway in May, the show marks the official launch of the 7th edition of âSoca Festâ.
Over the years, Soca Fest has developed a name for itself as one of the more prominent rural events featuring a number of top names on the local Soca scene.
