World renowned magician in Bequia for Easter

THE Bequia Reading Club will host world renowned magician Pit Hartling this Easter weekend. Dubbed- “An evening of Magic, Drama, Comedy and Dance,” the fundraiser will feature Hartling, who is one of the world’s leading magicians.{{more}}

A member of the legendary Spanish “Escuela Magica de Madrid”, he has lectured and performed all over Europe, the US, Japan and Australia. Pit is one of magic’s greatest entertainers with an audacious brand of showmanship. He is ranked amongst the world’s top magicians and is a high-energy performer who, “mixes magic that astounds with nonstop wit that leaves audiences holding their sides.”

He will put his talents to work for the fledgling Bequia Reading Club to raise funds to assist the club to continue its work on that Grenadine Island. The three year old Reading Club has been making waves on the island and held its first Reading Competition late last year. The Club continues to grow by leaps and bounds and has seen a huge increase in participation since the Competition was held.

Other performances for the Easter weekend fundraiser will come from La Gracia Dancers, comedian La Fayette Johnson, Fussy Steppers, Elfick Grant, Elite Steel Orchestra and Dawn Pacillo, among others. The magical presentation will take place at Bequia Friendship Bay Beach Resort from 6.00 PM on Sunday, April 4.

Contribution is $30.00 – adults and $10.00 – children. All proceeds will go towards the Bequia Reading Club.
