Her siblings include Dr. JP Eustace, founder of the Dr. JP Eustace Memorial Secondary School, and past Governor-General Sir Lambert Eustace.

Searchlight visited the home of Eustace on Wednesday, where family and friends, some from as far as Switzerland, gathered to celebrate her special day. The chatty Eustace, who seemed overwhelmed by the presence of so many people, said numerous thanks to those gathered to celebrate the day with her.

Eustace’s niece, Grace Eustace, speaking to SEARCHLIGHT, related that she has never been married and has no children. Grace added that she was always involved in community work and that she was always “busy taking care of everybody.” According to Grace, she has never been employed.

Governor-General Sir Frederick Ballantyne paid an official visit to the centenarian. He presented her with a bouquet of flowers and expressed birthday greetings. Eustace also received gifts from other friends, family and well wishers.
