Codogan, whose work has sometimes been labeled as controversial, promises to deliver material that is thought provoking and mind-boggling.

He noted that the idea for the show came about as a result of a dare put to him by another artiste. “The main aim of this show is to show a period in my life of which I have material that has been waiting to be released and now is the time. This is like burning bridges for me,” Codogan noted.

The show will incorporate poetry, film, art, and some surprises for the patrons.

He urged young visual and performance artistes not to wait on people to put out their craft. “I think artistes should learn to do things for themselves and to be innovative,” Codogan stated.

He noted that in these times of the global economic downturn, using the arts and giving it as much exposure as possible, could be one of the surest ways out of hardship.

Codogan has a rich history of involvement in the arts. In 2003, he attended the 5th Cariforum Biennial in Santo Domingo at the museum of modern art. He also attended the ACP Cultural festival in Dominican Republic in 2006.

The show starts at 7pm.
