Residents from the communities of Coulls Hill, Layou and Buccament benefited from the distribution this year. Many of them expressed appreciation of having been selected for the tangible gifts of love which had come at a most opportune time. Each recipient received two food parcels which included grocery items.

This annual food donation project, which began in 2008, is designed to demonstrate the spirit of love and care particularly for the elderly poor as an aspect of celebrations for Valentine’s.

The Lions Club is an active group of men and women who identify and fulfill community needs. The Lions Club of Kingstown-SVG has twenty six members who meet twice monthly at the Lions Den at Frenches Gate.
