While on vacation here in St Vincent, Nelson and Eliza Samuel, who have been residing in New York for the past 25 years, heard the cry of the department and could not let their plea fall on deaf ears.

The donation took place on Monday January 11, 2010, at Central Police Station.

Nelson, who served eight years in the force, noted that as a past member of the department that he saw it fit to give back something. He also encouraged the department to continue their good works.

His wife, Eliza, who served two years, said that she knows the printer will be an asset to the branch in order to carry out the daily work of the office.

Chairman of the department, Sergeant 509 Brenton Smith, thanked the couple for their generous donation. He outlined that the printer would go a long way in helping the department carry out their daily functions.
