OCDO meets tomorrow
The recently established Ottley Hall Development Community Organisation (OCDO) will host a âCommunity Conferenceâ tomorrow, Saturday, January 9, at the Palace at Ottley Hall.
The Conference begins at 3:30 p.m., under the theme adopted by the Community: âWe Can Make a Differenceâ.{{more}}
The main business of the Conference will be the election of an executive committee to replace the interim committee, which is currently in place overseeing the concerns of the Community. Remarks will be delivered, while plans for the development of the Community will be discussed.
This initiative is encouraged and supported by the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force and stems from the recent spate of violent confrontations between rival groups from the Edinboro / Ottley Hall communities.
The Urban League, another community grouping the area, is also working with the Ottley Hall Development Community Organisation.
