The forum, organized by the ICT Development Programme – SFA 2005 in collaboration with the EU-Funded project Business Skills Development and E-incubators, is being held at the New National Library as part of the Vincy Homecoming 2009 calendar of activities.

The main objective of the forum, which began yesterday, is to showcase local ICT-oriented companies and to educate Vincentians about trends and opportunities in the ICT field. The forum also seeks to open doors for collaboration between local and regional companies, and to encourage investments that will promote growth in this high potential sector.

The Forum provides an opportunity for local technology companies to present their products and services to a wide audience, and to explore potential linkages and areas of cooperation locally, regionally and internationally.

The Forum also features a number of special interest presentations and discussions, hosted by regional technology leaders. A feature event will be the Corporate Showcase, during which local companies will have an opportunity to interact with each other, and with the business public, to promote their products and services.
