The over 25 exhibitors included the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Division of Nursing Education, Seneca College, St George’s University, the Trinity School of Medicine, the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, among others.

President of the Medical Association Dr Rosalind Ambrose said that the Ministry of Education has partnered with them to put on the exhibition this year.

She noted that there is a problem of young people going into fields that are over subscribed, when there are many other fields out there.

“There are many fields in health care also that young people can explore and make a career out of them…. we don’t want persons to be confined to one thing only,” she remarked. Ambrose pointed out that the reception from the students over the years has been great and it gets bigger each year.

The exhibition, which ran for two days, saw hundreds of students interacting with career guidance professionals and college recruiters from different institutions.
