Seventh Day Adventists to host Health sessions

The Seventh day Adventist church, in collaboration with Medical Associates and the Ministry of Health, will be hosting this weekend “United Hands Incorporated”, a nonprofit missionary organization from the United States, comprising of Seventh Day Adventists Health Practitioners.{{more}}

The team is composed of doctors, dentists, psychologists, optometrists, sonogram technologists, and audiologists, among others. They will be at the Richland Park Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM to 12:30PM and at 3:00 to 6:30PM for a health rally, under the theme “Sanctified lives, Devoted Bodies.” Individuals will be given the opportunity to interact with these Health professionals and have their health related questions or concerns addressed.

Then on Sunday, June 28th, from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, there will be a big Health Fair at the Community College, Villa, in which members of the public will be given the opportunity to be screened for certain diseases and be advised on how to ameliorate or reverse particular diseases by making life style modifications. In addition, some curative measures will be employed.

A number of booths will be set up for screening, lectures and visual presentations, counseling and health exhibitions. Admission to the Health Fair and Health Rally is free.
