Lucky Father’s Day winners get prizes
Digicel, PakYa, and Magna, teamed up for Fatherâs Day and as a result, five lucky persons were rewarded with prizes.
Last Tuesday at the Digicelâs office in the Sprottâs Brothers Building on Bay Street, Manager of Pakya Ayeshma Abbott, Magna Representative Lucia Small, and Dealer Accounts Executive at Digicel Fanta Williams, handed over the prizes to the five lucky winners.{{more}} Horris Williams collected the grand prize of a US$500 shopping spree compliments PakYA, Jenny Pierre received a Motorola U9 cellular phone and EC$100 credit, Verrol Jackson received EC$200 worth of Magna Vouchers, Anthony Abbott got EC$200 credit, and Anne Martin got EC$100 worth of Digicel phone cards.
These persons were entered in the Fatherâs Day Promotion when they purchased a Digicel phone of topped up EC$15 or more. âThey were rewarded for joining the Digicel family,â said Digicelâs Dealer Accounts Executive.
Horris (won US$500 shopping spree) who hails from Glenside Mesopotamia said that he was very happy that he won. He is a mason and plans to use the money to buy some tools. Winning the promotion gives him the opportunity to shop online for up to US$500 worth of items compliments PakYa and Digicel. âThis is the first time I have ever won anything,â said Williams who added that he has been with Digicel since inception and they allowed him the opportunity to purchase his first cellular phone. Abbott (Manager at PakYa) said that the Fatherâs Day Promotion was their way of giving something back to the public.
Pierre (Won Motorola U9) said that she felt great about her prize. The Edinboro resident said Digicel has been giving her, âthe best service with no problemsâ.
With his EC$200 worth of Magna Vouchers in hand, Jackson commented, âthis is a good thing and it makes senseâ. He added that he did not have a Magna card before, but signed up for one on Tuesday.
Anthony too, also showed satisfaction with his EC$200 worth of Digicel phone cards, while Martin commented, âIt is lovely to get $100 worth of phone cards for free; this is very good because Digicel helps to keep me communicating with my family abroadâ. Martin has just returned from England and resides at New Montrose.
