NCB donates to groups
On Thursday, March 26th, 2009, the Union Island Branch of the State owned National Commercial Bank (SVG) Ltd. donated $200 to the Seventh Day Adventist Harvest In -gathering Humanitarian Appeal.{{more}}
The cheque was presented to Benedict Thomas by staff member Keesha Edwards.
The Mayreau Regatta Committee was also the recipient of the NCB Union Islandâs generosity on Thursday, April 16th, 2009, as Candice Coy, staff member, presented a cheque of $500 to the Committee towards their activities in May 2009.
The NCB Union Island also contributed $2,500 to the Easterval Committee towards the 2009 festivities. Lesroy Noel, Chairman of the Committee, was on April 2nd, 2009, presented with the sponsorship cheque by Keesha Edwards of the Southern Grenadines Branch.
All of the organizations were grateful to the NCB Union Island for its financial assistance in their activities.
