Digicel has made a major step towards enhancing the efficiency of several local media practitioners by donating BlackBerry Curve handsets to them.{{more}}
On Wednesday, December 10, 2008, Digicelâs Marketing Manager, Juno DeRoche, invited the media practitioners to her Digicelâs Bay Street Corporate Office and presented them with the new handsets sponsored By RIM.
DeRoche offered a heartfelt thank you to the media for the coverage provided during the past year. She said she is looking forward to continue working with the media in the upcoming year.
The Marketing Manager said the handsets are compliments RIM. She disclosed that when she made the request for the phones to present to the media, RIM gave them without any hesitation.
DeRoche ended her presentation by expressing the desire to continue building relationships with the media. She said she hoped the handsets will go a long way in making their communication more efficient.(HN)
