The students, who were sponsored by the Skills Training Division in the Ministry of Education, were exposed to both the theoretical and practical aspects of Childcare and Development. Speaking at the Graduation ceremony, Director of Vinsave, Mrs. Janice Fraser, encouraged the students to continue to develop good work ethics, noting that their role as caregivers called for commitment, patience, love for others and, in many cases, dedication that goes beyond the call of duty.

Lauramay Pope, Director of the Skills Training Division, said she was pleased that the caregivers completed the course. She noted the challenges her Division experiences in getting participants to complete their programmes of training. She encouraged the graduates to always give of their best, recognizing their role in the development of young minds.

Jacqueline Massiah, Training Coordinator at Vinsave, presented the Course Report. The students showed their appreciation in song. Clothel Young, of the Skills Training Division, presented the certificates and a gift to the most outstanding student – Rowena John. The vote of thanks was done by Deverne John.
