The March begins at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and will take the route of villages throughout the Sharpes Community.

The Rally is one of the activities the newly formed organisation has planned as a step in bringing residents together to start the journey towards rebuilding the community.

The Sharpes community has been plagued with a number of criminal activities within recent times, which has been of great concern to villagers.

Saturday’s activity will hear addresses from Parliamentary representative for the area, Conrad Sayers, Senator Saboto Caesar, who will deliver the keynote address, and a representative of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Social Investment Fund (SVGSIF)

There will also be cultural performances from 2008 Panorama Champions Starlift Steel Orchestra, the Largo Height Pan Assembly, an offspring of the Pan Against Crime Programme and the Avenue Dancers.

The Rally is being held under the theme: “Promoting Peace for a Better Community”.
