Richardson Motors is top Shell performer

Richardson Motors Service Station, located at Arnos Vale, outperformed other Shell Service Stations across the region in the recently concluded quarter (July – September) in the Shell People Make the Difference Real (PMtDR) Programme.{{more}} Approximately 100 Shell Service Stations participated.

PMtDR is a Shell globally aligned reward and recognition programme for Site staff, retailers and the Sales forces, which uses a common set of performance measures to drive operational excellence at the site level.

The recognition programme seeks to motivate frontline staff toward excellent performance at each site, every visit and every day; align performance targets of frontline staff with Shell’s global key performance indicators; and recognise top performers at each level.

Every quarter, retailers will be rewarded throughout the region.

For the quarter ending in September, only two retailers in the region were rewarded: Richardson Motors Service Station and Anselmo Stevens Service Station, of the BVI.

The Service Stations earned US$1,750 each to be shared among the retailer and staff.

The reward programme is structured whereby at the end of March 2009, a regional winner will be declared from among the SOL group which is a Shell licensee and operates in the English speaking Caribbean, South America, Belize, Puerto Rico and Haiti. The sum of US$12,000 will be awarded to the winner. The two awardees are currently the frontrunners for this award.

The winner of the SOL group will then compete against other Shell licensees in Jamaica, Spain, and the French Caribbean Islands. The winner of this round will be awarded the sum of US$36,000.
