VINSA TnT celebrates Independence

The Vincentian Students’ Association (VINSA) on St. Augustine Campus at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago has been holding activities to celebrate this country’s 29th anniversary of Independence.{{more}}

On Saturday, 25th October, a church service was held. The following day was a fun filled sports day. On Independence Day, the students proudly wore their association T-Shirts and had a flag raising ceremony. Yesterday, Thursday, October 30th, a food exhibition and sale was held.

On Thursday, 6th November, 2008, there will be the annual Independence Lecture at 6:30 pm at the Faculty of Science and Agriculture’s Frank Stockdale building, Room B. The Guest Speaker will be Saboto Caesar. The Topic to be discussed is “Responding to our post 1979 challenges, your role in the process: A case for St. Vincent and the Grenadines”. The Executive and members wish St. Vincent and the Grenadines a happy and prosperous 29th year.
