Under the theme ‘Together we foster a health and safety culture’, the week of activities culminated last week Friday with a seminar on housekeeping, waste management and accident prevention.

On Monday, October 13th, the company launched the week with a special ceremony at their Cane Hall plant, which saw senior management, members of the Board of Directors and staff members coming together for a brief thanksgiving ceremony.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. Roger Duncan also addressed the group on Monday. Duncan stressed that being healthy is not only being free of disease, but also a total physical, mental, social and psychological state of well-being, which contributes to safety in the workplace.
