UK diaspora elects new executive

The National Committee of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Associations in the United Kingdom now has a new Executive. At the Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 6th April, 2008, at the Hilltop Community Centre in High Wycombe, Jacqueline Roberts was elected Chairperson.{{more}}

She will be supported by Vice Chairperson, Theodora Cropper, Secretary, Paul Clarke, Assistant Secretary, Syletha Clarke, Treasurer, Noel Lewis, Assistant Treasurer, Dudley Browne, Public Relations Officer, Lennox Desilva and Project Officer, Vibert Cornwall.

The meeting also heard reports from all officers, including the Chairpersons of the various Vincentian Associations in the UK. The outgoing president, Gloria Jack, thanked the members for their support and co-operation during her term of office.

The elections were conducted by Maxwell Charles, Minister Counsellor of the High Commission for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in London.
