The new Executive has pledged to intensify activities to make the sport of biking a nationally recognized event. In order to achieve this objective, plans are underway to recruit a professional trainer from the United States of America to train the youths of the club in the art of riding for competitive events. Periods of attachment will also be arranged with Motorcycle clubs in St. Lucia and Martinique as a means of exposing the youths to professional riding. It is hoped that the fruits of the training will be realized and that St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be able to successfully compete at national, regional and international levels.

In keeping with this, 24 year old Shem King left St. Vincent on Tuesday, February, 12th, 2008, for St. Lucia, to commence a four week training session. He is sponsored by Leroy “Fly” Edwards of SVG General Services Ltd. The club’s Executive acknowledged the support given by the Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports Honorable Glen Beache, and Minister of Culture, Honorable Rene Baptiste.
