Grenadine House now open

Expect an absolutely classy and stylish ambience when you dine, stay over, have functions or just have a drink at the Grenadine House.

Formerly Camelot Inn, the entire 20-room property, which is situated at Kingstown Park, was refurbished over a seven-month period and is now ready to meet the high expectations of their guests.{{more}}

Classified as a deluxe “Boutique Hotel” with the highest quality fabrics, intricate artwork, spacious state of the art conference rooms, elegant furniture and soft lighting; all with a distinctive Caribbean touch, the Grenadine House is perfect for the business and leisure traveler.

Manager of Grenadine House Walter Heimann in an interview with Searchlight said that he has been in this country for the past ten years and finds it incredibly beautiful.

The Dutch born described himself as a man of international background since he was also raised in the Far East. After attending hotel school, Heimann pursued his passion for the hotel and tourism industry and has been, as he explained, “globe trotting” and believes that it’s because of his experience that he can bring an international flavour to the hotel with a well trained his staff who would exceed expectations.

The manager stated, “People should not be afraid to come to Grenadine House, it is open to the public. Although we have quietly opened, we hope to have social events, art exhibitions and concerts among other things. Grenadine House would be a vibrant place.”

Heimann also expressed a desire to someday open a hotel and tourism school in this country.

BM Resort Properties Ltd, owners of Grenadine House will be starting a new 80 room deluxe resort at Friendship Bay on Bequia, which includes former Bequia Beach Club, Adam’s Villas and Blue Tropic Hotel. (SG)
