New Digicel head looks forward

With only three weeks behind her and hopes for lengthy career with Digicel, new Country Manager Sonia Polius says she expects a challenge, but believes the adjustment will be made easier with the help of her staff and the hospitality of Vincentians.{{more}}

St. Lucia-born Polius, who took over the reigns from Martin Bollers less than a month ago, says that it is too early in her tenure to determine what challenges she is going to face, but so far her transition is moving along smoothly, thanks to the cooperative employees and the courteous persons whom she met since she has been here.

The former manager of the St. Lucia Marketing Board, and American Airlines employee also ran her own management consultancy firm before joining the Digicel team.

She said she sees Digicel as a growing and vibrant company with lots to offer to a person like her who likes challenges.

As a Rotarian, Polius also looks forward to working with the local Rotary Club, and whenever possible she hopes to take in some sailing in the Grenadines.
